Mensa Pakistan is part of the international Mensa community, bringing together individuals who have demonstrated intellectual ability within the top 2% of the population on an accepted intelligence test.
With a community that values intellectual exchange, social interaction, and diverse perspectives, Mensa provides an environment where curious minds can connect, share ideas, and explore new possibilities.

Mensa has three fundamental purposes:
To identify and foster human intelligence for the benefit of humanity.
To encourage research into the nature, characteristics, and uses of intelligence.
To promote stimulating intellectual and social opportunities for its members.

Research
Community Mensa Pakistan was founded in 1994, with Faisal Qureshi serving as its inaugural Chairman.
The organization began with a pioneer committee of 10 founding members and developed a growing membership community across Pakistan.
After its initial years of activity, Mensa Pakistan temporarily closed its operations in 1998.
The organization was revived in 2001 under the leadership of Taimur Qadri, who regrouped former members and helped bring Mensa Pakistan back to life.
In January 2002, Hasan Zuberi was elected Chairman. Since June 2002, Mensa Pakistan has continued to grow, developing an active membership base and local chapters in

Islamabad An important milestone came in July 2007, when Mensa International approved the National Constitution of Mensa Pakistan, marking its progression toward Provisional National Status.
Mensa Pakistan was also represented at the Mensa International Board of Directors meeting in Hong Kong in September 2007.

Mensa members come from remarkably diverse backgrounds. They represent different ages, professions, educational levels, interests, and walks of life.
Members may include educators, scientists, programmers, artists, professionals, entrepreneurs, skilled workers, and many others. There is no single profession, educational background, or lifestyle that defines a Mensan.

One Community. Mensa membership is open to individuals who demonstrate performance at or above the 98th percentile on an approved intelligence test. You can qualify by taking a Mensa-administered test or by providing qualifying evidence from an approved previous intelligence test.
